Adriana Dorta

(Venezuela)

Adriana Dorta has suddenly become one of the most successful emerging artists in Miami, ever since her exhibition in Spectrum during ArtBasel Miami 2015.

“Her work cautivates not only for its beauty, but for its spiritual message and hability to trap whoever looks at them” Ana B Remos, Miami Herald.

Original from Caracas, Venezuela since a very early age she moved to Paris, France where her passion for the arts began.

During her teenage years lived in Venezuela where she studied the arts of mosaics, ceramics, pottery-wheel and stained glass.

Later moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she attended high school at The American Heritage School. Later, back in Caracas she graduated from Business Administration. She worked for corporations that brought her back to Miami, it was until the year of 2008 that she decided to follow her true passion and go back to art school at the American Art Institute of Miami, Florida.

After a peregrinage to Medjugorje in Bosnia-Hersegovina in 2012 her spirituality emerged and grew, since then, she searches for ways to transmit faith and spirituality through her paintings and sculptures by combining intricated precise lines, the power of color and light.

“There are many paths to find true peace, but only our freewill will determine if at the end of our lives we will find it”

With invitations to showcase her work from Lisboa, Vienna, Switzerland, Italy, and Paris she is an emerging artist to watch out.
